Fat tire road rash??

I'm just installed new wheels with 19x9.5 +20 on the front. With this fitment, the front wheels extend out about an inch past the little splash guard at the bottom

With this fitment, the front wheels extend out about an inch past the little splash guard at the bottom of the wheel well. I'm wondering if anyone out there running this fitment has had any problems with rock chips (road rash) along the side of the car from rocks getting thrown up by the front tires.
