Possible Tire Combo?

Hey guys,
I've searched this forum for hours for a member who has run a F-285/35/19 R-305/30/19 combo on a 11 NISMO but i havent found one.

Does anyone run this combo on Nismo Rims? Will it work? Thanks for all the advice!

It'll work, but there will be over 1/2 an inch difference in overall diameter between the fronts and the back - 285-35R19 vs 305-30R19 - Tire and Wheel Plus Sizing | Tire Size Calculator. Most folks are running 265/35/19 in the front and 305/30/19 in the rear, I believe. I just picked up a set of wheels (19x9.5 / 19x10.5, the same as a NISMO) and, after much deliberation, I'm going to run 265s and 305s.

It will mount, it's within tolerance (example, RE11 285/35/19 has rim width range of 9.5-11). However I'm not sure a 9.5in wheel can take full advantage of the tread width (10.1 in case of RE11). But that's a deeper topic.

And Memphis already covered the difference in diameters

hm the consensus seems to be this is an unusual and not idea tire combo.

I assume the R 325/30/19 & 285/35/19 is a better set up in terms of over all use?

Not really. At least not on a 10.5" rear wheel. The calculator shows that a 325/30/19 is for a 12-13" wheel. The section width of a tire that size is nearly 13".

Plus, you've still got the issues to deal with in the front that cv129 raised.

Post #102 in your link basically tells you what we said regarding tire vs rim width. But in general, it will mount and it will work. Have fun!
