thinking of SSR SP1 or VF1
I might pull the trigger on one of these wheels, but i want 19s, 9.5,10.5s instead of the usual 20s for my z. i dont intend to lower the car as the place here is quite hilly and will dent its usability.. opinions? will it look weird on 19s?
also, if anyone knws a proper offset for these wheels which look flush AND does not rub. i intend to use the factory 245f/275r size still. |
You should check out the offset discussion thread. The last page has flush fitments

tx buddy. im under the impression that if i found a number for the offset i want, say+22, this will work for watever rim i choose? be it a volk SF or an SP1 or anything out there?
|
yep! :D offset refers to the distance of the pad to the center of the wheel. not the face as most people often confuse it for. you must determine whether you run a low pad, normal or high pad setup depending on your brakes.
|
wah? low/normal/high? whats the sport package brakes mean?
|
I'm sorry, I have to ask this...how does lowering a car dent it's usability in a "hilly" area exactly?
