Tell that to the guys running 285/325 on 9.5&10.5" Nismo wheels.

wheel offset is going to play a big role in this. gotta compare apples to apples.

275 probably is the limit on the 9" sport wheel without spacers, doesn´t seem unreasonable.

While it's true offsets play a part in the equation but I don't think 275s is the limit we can go up front on sport wheels. I think you could go up to 285s if you wanted to by eliminating whatever negative cambers in our stock alignment.

i guess it depends on what you mean by limit. at some point you are talking about major sidewall bulge. either way your point stands, you might be able to squeeze the right 285s on there (put some jeff gordon stickers on your car while you´re at it).

I wouldn't do it with any other tire, but I had a 295/30r19 Hoosier A6 on the front sport 19x9. This was a setup bought from a national champ autocrosser as well. Didn't rub.

Nah, I was just trying to say there is enough room under there to shove more meat. Obviously anyone is looking to go that wide would be doing it on a square set up for track duty. The 275s serves me well right now, but I agree it bulges quite a bit on 9 inches, 285s would look like riding on a blimp. Jeff Gordon would be damn proud! Lol

Are you lowered by chance? 295 is crazy. I'd like to see how that looks.

Wait.. why would you want to increase your tire width on "non summer tires for winter"?

You realize you want a narrower tire for snow right? A narrow tire will cut through the snow better to contact the road and get grip. You only want wide tires if you are off roading in snow/sand/mud whatever. For the street, you want narrow.

Lowered about an inch and a quarter. I'm hoping to run rear 19x10 rays on the front and rear (20mm spacer on the rear) and 295/30 r888. Hoping and praying it fits with with some extra camber. Lol probably running -2.8 front camber this next year.

Went from the stock 245 to 275/35/r19 in the front. I can barely fit my first index knuckle between the tire and the suspension, but, it fits. I don't see any hope of going any larger on the front.

Went from the stock 275 to 295/30/r19 in the back (I can't find these tires any wider). Still, they barely stick out past the fender. Looks nice.

305/30/19 fit rear wheels and on the RE-11s don't bulge nor stick out from the fender.

guys I'm planning on buying 2013+ nismo wheels and getting 4 new tires
will this be good fitment on my set up
2014 tour/sport , swift springs, 20mm front / 25mm rear
michelin pilot super sport
265/35/19 front
305/30/19 rear
