replacements

2010 roadstar tour sport need new tires. I am not a speedstar dont do a lot of "burn out". The factory tires that can with the car were loud but i knew that from the start; its an convertable. I live in virginia and fl, so summer tires should do. i heard some good things about the pilots as for as reducing road noise. But because of pricing the SO-4s are in my price range. Are the SO-4s have as much road noise as the factory tires that came with the car. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good replacement tires....details please.

if Michelin makes tires in ur size you cant go wrong with MPSS...coming from Porsche 997 and that is what everyone is using, I loved mine...

Love my PSS's. However I heard that the S-04s are good tires for the money.

I am running S04s on my car. They are great tires for the money.Quieter than the stock Yokohama tires.

if u run S04's make sure to get the 285/35/19 for the rears. 275/35/19 are narrow for some reason

and i sound like a broken record..

no problems with my s04's, great alternative compared to MPSS if cost is an issue

I personally like the continental DW. Theyre great in both summer and wet, cheaper and hold up

kenchan 11-09-2015 06:04 PM

yah, if u dont mind the round sidewall and softish ride, the DW's are a good set too.

are the 285/35-19 just for appearance or for ride quality. do you have pictures of your rear tires

good call..im a tire guy to the max..the SO4s are an inch less wide than the stock RE050A for the same size, going up one size is perfect..

I usually run Michelin but Im liking these Stones..

What about 245/40/19's on the front? Are they the same width as the RE050A's?
