Hello all,

I have Forgestars in the following spec:
F: 19x9.5 ET19
R: 19x11

I have 245's on the front now and they poke/stretch a little with the 9.5 wheel.

Will 265 on the front be too much, or should i stick with something that'll tuck better (the 255).

i'd keep it 245/40/19 unless u're having problems besides appearance..

my nismos are 9.5" and wearing 245/40/19 fronts but RE11's.

I'll be going to Michelin PSS after the Bridgestone S-04 wear out. Just wanna avoid the poked wheel look.

ur poke is coming from the ET19 you have. if ure just going for looks, how about lowering it more, getting adjustable a-arms and run more neg camber, or do it correctly and just get the right offset wheels?

wider tires will make them look worse.

What's the proper offset for a 19x9.5 for a flush fitment then?

for stock height i would do no less than ET35
my nismo's are ET40 or ET41 or something 9.5" width. they are imho perfect for stock height on base.

if lowered you can go lower ET..

Picture from the top? I run 265 front with stock height and camber but whatever they recommend at foregstar. I don't think it was 19

My front is 19x9.5, +25 with 275/35-19 PSS. Stock height was about perfect. My camber now is -2. So the top of the tire is in a little bit. Still at stock height.

More camber would be lovely, but that costs $700 for the SPL control arms.

I'm at stock height and cannot lower my Daily Driver.

Interestingly, I'm dealing with the same issue in deciding on a set of aftermarket wheels. I agree with Kenchan in terms of the offset, but coming at it from a non-Nismo perspective. The offset on the front stock 19 x 9.0 Ray wheels is +47. I'm not sure of the exact gap between the wheel and the outside of the front fender, but it appears to be around 20 mm based on what I've seen and read. Others can correct me if I'm wrong. With a 9.5" wide wheel, about 5 mm of the gap will be taken up by the added width of the wheel over stock, leaving about 15 mm to spare before the wheel begins to poke ... meaning that you should be looking at an offset of no less than 30-35(i.e., 47-15) if you want to avoid any significant poke. What surprises me is that lots of owners run Volk TE37 SLs with a +22 offset with oversized tires (255/40/R19) on the front apparently without a lot of poke, even at stock height. Bottom line is that I'm still not certain what the ideal offset for the front wheels should be to avoid poke ... but it appears to be +30 mm or above when you're running 9.5" wheels. Others can weigh-in with opinions and pics based on their experience.

for base running 9" front you will have a clean fitment at ET32. basically adding a 15mm stud-replacement type spacer on your 19x9 front sport wheels. for those with nismo bumpers you can go wider. im not really into that flush look at stock height. my dressup car has a flush look but appropriately lowered.

also check the front wheel fitment from a side/rear angle. dats when most poke looks prominent.
