Default Opinions and Experiences with RE71/ZII Star-Spec

So, it is time for me to get another set of tires. I made excellent use of my RE-11s, but I'm curious to know how people have found these newer tires to react to both daily and track use. My current set of tires has seen at least 15K Miles and 6 Track days (two in extreme heat). The rears are just now at the wear bar.

I'm okay with the next set not getting the same amount of life as I plan on purchasing another set of wheels and tires early next year so I can have a dedicated set for Daily and Track use.

Specs for people interested:
F: 265/35R18
R: 275/35R18

Tires I'm looking at:
Bridgestone RE-71R
Dunlop Direzza ZII Star-Spec

reviews say the re71R are the best tire out there in terms of pure performance. Seems like the noise and comfort levels are pretty bad though. I wonder how long the re11s will be available for.

go with the RE-71

the RE-11's alone have better ratings than the star specs but the steering response score was .2 better than the re-11 and only .1 better than the re-71.

the traction and cornering stability was better in both RE's and the re-71 being best traction/cornering.

I love my re-11s. I am worried the re71r might be giving up too much daily drivability for extreme performance.
