sell wheels buy a brand that doesn't bend when you hit a speed bump.
all I've seen is bad stuff about forgestars.

MAYBE full recondition would be $200, but i have a 2-stage powdercoat which none of the wheel refinishers want to touch. So... i'm left looking for any powdercoater that can handle a 2-stage, and haven't seen one in Chicagoland yet. |

I'd like to avoid the 4-new-wheels route. As i'm saving for go-fast parts

The question is, how bad did you beat it up? That will determine if the wheel can be fixed or scrapped. You never told us the condition.
