You'll have to shop around but it can be repaired with a vulcanizing tire patch. The big chains wont repair it if it is less than 1" from the edge

You'll have to shop around but it can be repaired with a vulcanizing tire patch. The big chains wont repair it if it is less than 1" from the edge of the tread. If you don't drive fast it really shouldn't be a problem.
