Freaking Pothole!
So, I hit a pothole today, and now I'm, faced with this.
http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...psutts6s7z.jpg http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...psklrkb7yj.jpg The tire is holding air for the time being, but I don't want to tempt a blowout at speed around town, and certainly not when I have to drive to Atlanta later this week. And, apparently NO ONE in this town carries anything that can fit our Sport 19 Rims... Are we sure that today isn't Monday? This feels like a Monday issue. |
Damn bro, that really sucks! You can 1) Sue the city for not repairing potholes (long shot) and/or 2)Buy a replacement tire immediately.
Do you have coverage on your tires? |
No sense in suing the city... that would take more time than it's worth.
No, I don't think I've got coverage on the tires. They were on the car when I purchased it (private sale) about 4 or 5 months ago. More or less just SOL, it would seem. At least it doesn't appear that it bent the frame of the wheel... that was what I was really worried about. |
That hurts just looking at it. Waiting to fix it has gotta be rough. Hope all works out.

Ive been reimbursed 3 times from the city.
If you document it properly, take pictures of the hole, how deep it was, where its located. You've got a good chance. My city declined 97% of all claims lol. This is because people send them a bill, no pictures, not properly documented. its worth a try. |
:iagree:
You don't have to sue them. You just have to ask properly for reimbursement. |
