OEM Tire Pressure Recommendation Changed for MY2015+?

If I'm not mistaken, the recommended cold tire pressure for the Sport Package 19-inch tires on 2009-2014 370Zs is 35 psi.

I was surprised to see the door jamb sticker of a 2015 Sport Tech 370Z showing a recommendation of 32 psi. The tires are still the same type (Bridgestone RE050) and size.

It means they made a suspension change and the tire pressures needed to drop for optimal tire wear.

Tires specify only the maximum inflation.

I run my fronts at 35 and my rears at 32, any higher and I start to get an unsettled feeling at highway speeds. 32 is definitely a good choice for the newer Z's with the different shocks.

It is all about ride. Most want a smoother ride. It is not suspension or wear.

tires usually only have max pressure.. have to look at the door jam for the recommended psi for the vehicle.

maybe too many complaints about harsh ride and they softened it up for the weak. :confused: :icon17:
