TPMS in 2 sets of wheels?

So, if you buy a second set of TPMSs and have the second set programed to work, can you just swap back and forth, or every time you swap wheels

Default TPMS in 2 sets of wheels?

So, if you buy a second set of TPMSs and have the second set programed to work, can you just swap back and forth, or every time you swap wheels you have to go back to the dealer to have them do something? Anybody have experience?

Another question for those with aftermarket wheels. Have you put aftermarket TPMSs in the wheels, used your OEM ones, not put them in, or buy a second set?

Really liking my Cheap Winter Tires/Wheels

I was told by Nissan dealer that they need to be recalibrated everytime. Again, I take dealer info with a grain of salt. Half the time they have no clue what they are saying.

I ordered some winter rims and tires. I initially went with TPMS but now I'm rethinking my decision. It's going to be a hassle calibrating this every 6 months. Also, I'm going to my dealer which is at least 50 miles away. It's a hassle getting appointments and stuff there. I Plan on calling TireRack tomorrow again for the final time to make sure. I did talk once they weren't totally sure. They suggested to ask my Nissan Dealer.

Can you ask your local Nissan dealer and see what they say? Maybe Lou from Fusz Nissan or Scott from Fontana Nissan can chime in?

you do need to have them calibrated every time you switch. I have a tool that I bought for reprogramming my corvette sensors, and it says it works with Nissan too. Check ebay for reset tools and do it yourself and save.

I did this exact thing. Need to get re-calibrated or programmed or whatever. Bo big deal for me. Dealer like 1.5 miles away. Charge was small, don't exactly remember how much.

Thanks - maybe buying the tool to do it yourself is the way to go.
