19" SRR SP3 for the 370Z

So I've been shopping around and I've been told regardless what size I get (SSR SP3) in 19" I'd have to get spacers (5mm) for the front for break clearance....

I have a 2014 370z

Can anyone verify this for me?

ROBERT1183 06-09-2015 07:35 AM

hmmmm really. when i was looking at the sp3 and sp1 i was told that as long as i ran like +22 to +25 up front that i would be fine without spacers

Anthony@Royal 06-09-2015 11:34 AM

Just called SSR USA for you  They said 19" SP3 will need HP disk up front and NR in the rear to clear Akebono's. No spacer needed.

Wow you are amazing! Thanks! I'm located in Aus so it's a bit hard finding contacts here.... I went through jdm concept here in Australia where you can import jap rims and the dude I was dealing with told me I needed spacers in the front regardless :S Which got me soo confused....

It doesn't matter of the offset right? Regardless if it's a HP or NR disk they will fit with the akebono brake calipers?

Waiz 06-12-2015 12:16 PM

We have a great thread with a ton of Z's running SSR's in it

http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...ls-thread.html

Most have specs listed within the thread and as others have said as long as you select the right disc they will easily clear

dvo 06-12-2015 01:19 PM

with multi piece wheels, it's not the offset that dictates the brakes clearance like a one piece wheel. It's just the disk that determines that.

Typical fitment would be 19x9.5 +25 and 19x10.5 +18 NR

If you want to go a little more aggressive, you can do 19x9.5 +12 HP, 19x 11 +11 NR. May require fender rolling depending on tires and how low you are.

Cool cool. Wow that's exactly what spec I was going to go for! (19x9.5 +12, 19x11 +11)

For reference, this car has the same specs in a different wheel.

What kind of wheels are those. These are the only ones that I have seen that I like. If the centers were gunmetal, they would be perfect for a black car.

KamiSpeed 06-17-2015 12:11 PM

Those are the SSR MS3 3-Piece.

Thanks z_blk! I agree, I love black, it's really hard to show all the details, but I don't think I would want any other color.

No wonder I like them, they are 3-Piece wheels. You have anymore pics of them?

KamiSpeed 06-17-2015 03:56 PM

Yeah they are one of my favorites from SSR. Not a lot of people have them. Most rock the SP1 | MS1 and SP3

The MS3 can be ordered in Gunmetal or flat gunmetal.

Here are some other pictures of the MS3

What sizes wheels are on the red 370z Nismo?

z_blk 09-18-2015 08:01 AM

What's the difference between the silver finish and titan silver finish for the ssr sp3's?

What spec would I need for a similar fit on 10.5 on the rear instead of 11?

10.5 +5. I use this to figure different offsets

Titan Silver is more of a gunmetal color (darker silver). Where the silver finish is a brighter more true silver color.

This is pretty good true color pic of the Titan Silver SP3

Wow great pics!

So in your opinion which would you prefer on a black z? lol Or should I custom it and recolour it a rose gold?....

KamiSpeed 12-07-2015 11:28 AM

I think between the two Titan Silver would look great on a Black Z.

SSR offers other colors. They do have gold. Not rose gold though. And also the Super Black Coat on a black Z is sick :)

What tyre sizes can fit this spec?

Spooler 03-17-2017 04:55 PM

I can't help myself. I really like these rims. The only ones I have found I like.

hrtbrknprince 03-18-2017 06:02 PM

Anyone have any pics of SSR GTV03 on a Z? I'm looking to get some 19s in black. Want some fitment ideas.

cooltoy 03-18-2017 06:25 PM

Google does. I'll ask him for you.

Spooler 03-20-2017 07:41 PM

This is the look I am shooting for. It's a 993 RS but you will get the picture. The guy is a douche on the track.
