Tires for a daily driver?

I have been reading many of the threads trying to figure out what most of the drivers here are buying for tires. I am even more confused than when I started. I have a 2014 Roadster with the sport package. I would appreciate any advice on what new tires you recommend and where you bought them.

It depends on what weather your car is operated in, your budget, what you want to do with the car, and then there is brand preference.

If I could make an educated guess by the small amount of information available to me, you could get away with a dedicated summer tire.

There are multitudes of a place to buy tires. There are local ones if you do not wish to be hassled by shipping and arranging the mounting and balancing. I could suggest Discount Tire, but that's just because I have had a good experience with them and my wheel and tire guy works at a local one. I'm sure someone will say that it's no good; the same scenario will apply to other venues.

One online place I use is Tire Rack. Their website allows me to select and filter tires by category. I can read reviews and tests there and they carry a wide selection of tire brands. I have used TR prices to bargain the price at my local DT store; my wheel and tire guy is fully aware of this.

So, I suggest a bit more research and then come up with a few tires; some of us here can help with pinpointing or giving opinions.

I think the op isn't really into tires and he was okay with the ones that came with the car.
that said, the S04 is better than the RE050's in terms of grip wet or dry while maintaining the bridgestone goodness.
it would be a safe step up from stock.

now if one was looking for great tires for spirited driving, i would suggest none other than RE11's.

You could most likely get away with summer performance tires or all-season performance.

The Bridgestones that come on the car factory are decent, though somewhat pricey. I went with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3s for my DD in Florida, because of the great wet-traction, but they are not very cheap either. I know that there are other threads on here where people have listed cheaper tires that work well.

Potenza Pole Position S-04 are a close second.

Stay away from Sears brand, K-mart brand, Big-O (any brand), Hankook (han-cuckoo) of any type, Pirelli, Goodyear, Firestone, General and Kuhmo...

S04's, there's no doubt in my mind. (cost -efficiency). They are a very close second to the PSS. So close that the PSS isn't worth the price difference for 99% of the drivers.
Tire Rack online. The trick is finding someone to mount and balance them without scarfing your wheels.
