Continental DW, good mix of weather and performance and they're priced well

Never skimp on tires -- they are the only thing between you and the road...

^ That's right. You do not skimp on tires. Think about it. The turns, the on and off ramps, the lane changes, the grip, in the rain. PSSs FTW.

all season tires are okay on suv's sedans, minivans, station wagons, wheel barrow, etc.

2112 is one of my favorite albums.

Truth is written here...

Anyone running with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3?? Like to hear how you like them and your impression of the handling in the rain? Luckily I only have 4k on these tires as it was a garage queen, been hunting for a new tire for the future. I am looking at the DWS and the Michelin PSS. Those of you who seem to love the PSS here, how do they hold up in the rain with wet roads/puddles?

In Utah, Im skeptical to just run summer tires all year round, I will park it for most of the winter. Snow comes at all sorts of times in Utah unexpectedly. As well as rain and hail.

I run these tires on my wife's Juke. No problem so far. I see no issue with them on the Z, considering the climate in which you live.

When I drive in the rain with my PSSs , its like I am on dry pavement, with turns, lane changes, etc.

However, just remember that the PSSs are a SUMMER tire and if they get really cold they will suck. Any summer tire will also be worthless in the snow. The 370 Z is like the worst car in the snow I have ever had, including my 350Z and my MKIV Supra.

I've done quite a bit of research on summer tires, anticipating I'll need to replace the OE original tires soon. I like to read Tire Rack's reviews. They do thorough evaluations of traction (dry and wet), noise, etc. Also consider price and wear ratings.

I've already decided on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires when I'm ready to buy. For what it's worth, I also have a friend who races regularly, including Car and Driver One Lap (on road + circuit driving), and he strongly recommended the Michelin PSS which he has run on a BMW M3. Check out the Tire Rack review here:

What I see from that graphic is a marginal improvement in mixed performance
7.64 for the S-04
7.84 for the PSS

Compared to a substantial price difference

$782.44 for a set of S-04
$1121.96 for a set of the PSS
