Default Cracked spacer...how big of a problem is this?

So I noticed the other day that my Ichiba 20mm rear spacer has a small fracture. I've attached some pictures. I think I may have been driving on it like this for a while, but cannot notice it, no vibration or anything. Will this be an issue, like replace immediately?

You should be ok, but I would definitely change it and send them the pic and if there a good company, they'll send you another one out ASAP. If not, post that pic and blast the hell out of them and hit them in the pockets with future sales from the site.

I'd take it off and send it back to ichiba for a replacement. May not have caused any issues yet but I doubt you'd want it to finally give you a big issue while you're cruising on the freeway or something.

Has been known to happen with Ichiba

Be cautious of spacers - Club Lexus Forums

I have been running H&R for 7 years without issue, would get those replaced

I've always been sure to torque to 80ft/lbs. I'm thinking I'll try to contact Ichiba. Anyone selling 20mm spacers??

I assume this isn't a problem with the type I spacers, which require stud replacement. Looking at the pic there's very little material on the edge, so that's certainly a weak point.

Get rid of those type II spacers...

Wink

I wouldn't drive the Z until you remove that spacer. The last thing you want to happen is for that to fail when driving. Because you don't know what kind of damage it will do to the Z and other vehicles around you.

I would replace those ASAP. Not worth the risk for such a cheap part.

Like stated above, I would also remove this immediately. Sure, it may be fine until you get the replacement but it's not worth the risk of breaking off and damaging much more than just your spacer/wheel.
