maybe regretting sport package.. nahhh
So I kinda knew what I was getting into with the sport package and tire size+cost but seeing now how they wear (how fun the Z is to drive a little spirited) and my new car payment and increase in insurance I am wondering whats a good affordable tire setup. Im not interested in track like handling tires being I don't have time to run out to autocross events or Sebring for a weekend, the life of a married car salesman whose a homeowner pshh. Being in Florida though I only have and only will run summer tires. Any tires you guys recommend that wont break the bank but also not be complete garbage?

Avoid the V12s and go for the S04. The S04 is leagues better. I only paid $925 with shipping for 265/35 and 285/35 S04s.

265/35 and 285/35. I was gonna stick with stock sizes is there a real difference?

S-04's are currently on sale on Tire Rack with a $70 mail in rebate on top of the cost
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....4PPXL&i1_Qty=2 They have Sport model sizing available |
Truthfully I see tires as a recommended mod as they are the only thing keeping the Whole car to the road. Michelin Super Sports all the way!
