That's what I was thinking. It'd be a huge pain in the ***. Just wondering if anyone has actually done it and can tell me how much of a pain in the *** it was. Cheaper and more time saving than doing it with plasti dip. I'm trying to do it myself and I'm not sure if I'll be able to dip it myself unless it's easier than I'm making it Sound.

Is that the stock rim color? U thought it might've been a decal or something

no the stock wheels have only came in regular silver or the slightly tinted version on the 40th edition.

That seems like it'd be a pain in the *** to dip, especially if I don't like how it ends up. Thank u for the response though

I read about this guy somewhere on here, he had the sport rays and sanded down each "Hump" of the spoke so it laid flat and flush with the edge and looks like a powder coat before the sanding

plasti-dip? it peels right off if you don't like it.

that's actually the best way to do it and see if you like it. then go spend the money to get them powder coated.

get painters tape, couple cans of plastidip, and somewhere to spray em.

tape off the sections you want bare and spray the rest. done lol

Yeah I paid 86$ for plasti dip and it should be coming in today and I plan on getting my rims done myself. Not trying to pay another 86$ for another kit if I mess up lol.
