Hi everyone!

I wanted to ask everyone's opinion on some entry level tires I'm looking into. I have a 2010 Nismo which I got Stance coilovers on and dropped about 2.5 inches. My camber wear is pretty bad on the current tires (they're shot) so I was looking into getting something not too expensive since it seems like with my set up, I'm going to be eating up tires.

What do you guys think about Nankang NS-2 ultra performance tires? I've read mixed reviews about them but I don't really track my car or auto cross it. I do enjoy going cruising with my friends and driving it spirtedly and taking the ramp fast and tight at times.

I'd love to hear some feedback or recommendations from all the experts out there or people that face my situation and what route they chose.

Wouldn't buy tires that cheap.
Buy Hankook V12s.

AND buy camber arms and toe bolts

They seem to be quite popular with the hellaflush/vip crowds, probably because its easy on the wallet when you had to go thru tires a few times a year.

I do have a beater that I drive throughout winter, so I don't daily my Z. I just don't want to invest another $800-$900 on tires again and have to buy them every year because of camber wear.

Agree on the camber arms and toe bolts.

Get proper suspension bit to take care of the camber and then get yourself a proper set of tires. I've heard the Bridgestone S-04s are very good for the price

Yes, I've looked into the s-04 and I've read a lot of good reviews on them.
No one ever advices me to get any camber arms or toe bolts since I'm not completely slammed but I'm gonna start looking into those. Any particular brands?

SPC should do fine for street driven, non-track...

I have S-04's and like them better than the OEM 050's. I've tracked them twice and put around 6k miles on them, I have plenty of tread still. At my driving level they are sticky enough, I'll get stickier tires next time probably. They did awesome in the rain last time on the track too. A buddy of mine has Sumitomos and he was all over the place. S-04's are a great bang for your buck at around $900.

Toe is your wear enemy ... camber not so much.

I HAVE THEM TIRES BRO. NO PROBLEM PEOPLE HATE THEM BUT THEY WORK AND PERFORM. Check my album for tread pattern. I have driven them hard with no issues. In the rain 80mph car feels solid, normal weather 120mph and have done like 70mph on some junction merging with no problems the tires grip. I did some research before I obtained the Nankangs and the company have won some awards…So I personally recommend them. Some call it cheap I call it smart shopping.

That's what I run also. No problems with the Nankangs. Lasted 24k on the rear, factory bridgstones lasted 12k. Quieter than bridgestones, no noticeable difference in performance in wet or dry. I will definitely buy them again. They were actually recommended to me from my local tire shop, and I trust these guys. I've been using them for 20 or so years.

I've checked their speed ratings and they seem legit and I don't think the wear will be an issue if they can last me 12-15k because of the price. My rears are completely done and I bought Michelin ps2 which were $300+ per tire for my rear so I need something that's gonna be good grip and best bang for the buck
