You guys dig these tires?
Looking into Sumitomo HTR Z III, mainly for DD car.
I can go with Michilin PSS but the Sumitomos are just over 1/2 the price for a set of 4 so that's why I'm asking if anyone's got/had Sumitomos and what they think about em. Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about this brand in particular but it's safe to assume they're a cheap tire, reflecting the cheap price. It's one thing to put these on a Civic or stretching them on wide wheels but if you're looking for something for your daily that happens to be a sports car, don't go too cheap. Afterall, it is the one thing touching the ground that could factor the difference between you making it home or ending up in a ditch.
If you're looking at cheap, I have personally owned a set of Capital Sport UHP tires and they were great for how little I paid. 255/35/20's for $92/piece.

DW are pretty round and ugly, but they are compliant tires for street, very well mannered for relaxed drives. another choice i would go with at those price ranges is the S04. |

i think i had these tires when i was running the stock 18s. they were very good and reliable. had them for about two years and didnt notice any wear when i upgraded to 19s. i also thought they looked pretty slick / sporty for a "cheaper" end tire. Car also is a DD.

Tire rack had em for a decent price. I think I'm going with a set of PSS.
