How many cans of glossifier for dipped rims?

So I plan on buying a graphite metallizer kit from dyc. Glossifier does not come with it. How many cans of glossifier will I need if I do 1-2 coats?

You just need 1 can. I did 1 heavy coat on my wheels and it looks great!
I did my wheels Anthracite Grey 1st then decided to go all black. I much preferred the look of the black as it matched the tires and it looks gorgeous! I do have a white suv and thinks it compliments very well. I looked online at pictures of black wheels and thought it would be too dark or look odd. However, in person it really looks like OEM/professional vs some little kid playing around with a can of spray paint. I did 6 coats of dip and rolled the car back a few times getting areas I couldn't get bc of the angle - make sure you cover your brakes with something. I suspect you could do 5-6 coats easy of glossifier if you wanted to; depends on how shiny you want your rims. I liked my with a slight sheen. Also glossifier is a little thinner than the dip so becareful not to let if run or spray too much at one time.

Good luck!

Got u. Thanks for the tips. Fazio at DYC said that 3 cans minimum would be good to dip all 4 rims, but I Think that might be a bit crazy lol

Or, you know, take your wheels off

With 2 kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats, wife, house, acre of yard to cut, work, etc. there is no time to remove tires. If, you have time by all means have at it lol.

Gotcha. I only have half an acre to cut for my 3 dogs and 2 cats. The fiancé and house are easy enough to take care of
