Wheel Offset

1 Attachment(s)
So I know there are a few threads already about offsets (and I've read through them!) I just have a very specific question.

The Wheels that I'm interested in are only available with a "35" offset for both the back and front. What would this do to the look of the car and what spacers if any would be necessary to bring the wheels flush with the fender? I have the Roadster Touring Base model so with the current offset the wheels sit slightly interior of the fender. I'm looking at 20x8.5 upfront and 20x10 in the rear. Pics attached for the wheel as well. Thanks Guys!

Find a car that has the fitment you like, find the specs of that car, input those specs and the specs of the wheels you want into a wheel offset calculator, fine tune with spacers

My wheels are 20x9-30 (255/35 tire) & 20x10.5-20 (285/30 tire). http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...e56f82b69c.jpg

So, to match mine you need a 5mm spacer up front and 15 in the rear (with the same size tires)

cruz, you need to take in to account the narrower width. yours are 9" w/ +30 offset. his are 8.5 w/ +35. He'd need an 11mm spacer to match yours (which probably means a 10mm since that is most common) up front and a 21mm spacer in back (again, a 20mm would be the more common).

jnslance, you need to think about what you want in terms off "flushness" In my opinion for a flush look the numbers for a 9.5" wide FR and 10.5 RR are somewhere around +22 FR and +12 RR. So if you are looking to match those numbers you could do a 25mm spacer up Front. and a 30mm in the RR.

Peruse this thread http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...pecs-only.html
Then use this calculator Wheel Offset Calculator to figure out what spacer you are looking for.

This should also help.

:tiphat: to Vicious for posting this in the "Wheel Spacers 101" thread that is stickied at the top of this forum.

edit: forgot the magic decoder info

Green cells indicate stock wheel poke.
Blue cells indicate flush at stock height.
Yellow cells indicate wheel poke for lowered Z's. Flush at -2 camber rear and -1 camber front is at the highest yellow cell for each given wheel width.
Red cells indicate wheel poke PAST the fender ON A LOWERED Z, I would not recommend any of these sizes. (unless you're going for stance and such, but this post isn't made for you).

Here check this out. It'll tell you the difference for inner clearance and outer clearance when you input the different offsets.
