Need Help - All season tires for 2013 370z w/sports package
Whats up playERS. I am looking to make some cross country trips this year and I would like some all season tires. The dealership recommended some Potenza tires that cost $455 per tire annnnnnnnnnd yeah, that aint happening. :shakes head:
So I was wondering if you guys could recommend some affordable all season tires (with links if possible). I have a 2013 370z w/sports package. Thanks in advance. |
Keep hearing very good thing about the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3's. Cheaper than $455/tire, that's for sure.

Tirerack or Discount Tire are the two places I use. Check out the Bridgestone S-04s and Nitto Invos :twocents:

I have run several sets of Invos on the Z over the past few years and have been nothing but pleased. They have great wet weather performance, very good dry performance, very good wear, and are an excellent value for what you get IMO. They have a soft sidewall and definitely aren't track tires, but they were consistent and predictable in both easy and hard cornering on the track when I drove them. |

NT05 is a performance tire. Good for autoX and track, but definitely not what you want.

Too Proxies 4 been running themost for over a year in Colorado. Good grip haven't had them slide or howl in "65mph" turns doing 85-95mph.

I'm running Continental DWS. I haven't really had any snow to speak of, so I can't weigh in on that, but I paid just under $1100 mounted. Major deal because one place wanted to charge me $1600+.
They are VERY quiet also, which is nice. |
Conti DW Extreme are on my list to try (in Texas I don't really need the S). I have heard nothing but good things about them. Their quietness is probably the main reason I haven't tried them. I drive with the windows down 90% of the time, so it's not something I look for in a tire.

Nice. The DWS are probably the best all season tire if you expect to see any snow, OP. But if you expect anything more than a very light snow, no all season tire will be safe.

Thanks for everyone's input, I will look into DWS'. Any place in particular I should purchase these tires? :stirthepot: |
I imagine Tirerack will be your best bet.

I went from S-04's to Michelins a/s 3's on a recent tire and wheel swap. In dry conditions they are pretty much the same but wet conditions I prefer the S-04's. To be fair though I went from stock 18" base wheels to 19"s and do have a larger footprint on the ground now. I have to drive about 10 mph slower because of hydroplaning issues which causes a butt pucker situation that I aint particularly fond of.

I really like the Michelin A/S 3's, got a little over 10k on my set (daily driver) and they show almost no wear.
