tires popping at full lock

So I'm pretty sure I've read that this is normal, but when the car is cold and I turn the wheel all the way to either side the tires make a popping sound like one side is skipping. Sounds like a locker in my jeep. I guess I'm just looking for validation that's is normal. My 350 never did this. Seems to go away after its warm? Thanks

Yep

I second that emotion.

DOOMMONKEY777 01-23-2015 09:18 PM

Absolutely normal.

zefaulter 01-23-2015 09:37 PM

I notice this specially when it's cold

firulice 01-23-2015 09:40 PM

Great thanks guys. It is cold tonight for sure. I feel reassured

Get some nice Michelin PSS or nice R-11, and you'll feel much better.

zefaulter 01-24-2015 12:39 AM

I really have to buy those pss. They come up as solution to every problem :D

Research the "Ackerman" effect. It's common with wide tires.

along with the corialass effect factored in with the earths gravitational pull.

sorry but there is alot of b.s. on the forum and people are quick to regurgitate someone else's hypothesis. Proven info is the only way to help someone else, but then the circle jerk of life needs lots of johns to keep the wheels turning.

whatever, im just salty today.
