I have to run out the door here but this will be a place to build our track day plan for this friday

Here is my bring list.
1 helmet
2 car trailer
3 spare oil
4 painters tape for numbering
5. 5 gallon gas can for topoff to avoid fuel starving in right hand turns. I've been told topoff between runs is important!
6. gopro camera (if I can find a good mount to make it work)

I can meet up anytime (6am?) at Denver west or airport or wherever is convenient and don't mind hauling your spares and gas etc. on my car trailer!

What: Track Day!!! Half ($90) or Full ($150)
***($10.00) inspection cost at the track***
When: Sept 6th @ High Plains Raceway

Meet Location: (Check Back Later)

Meet Time: 6:00am @ I-25 & I-70

My Check List:

1. Helmet :yum:
2. Gloves(I like using them case hands get a bit slick) :driving:
3. Cooler w/Drinks & Snacks (Water, Gatorade & Lunch):rock:
4. Blue Painters Tape:rolleyes:

Okay wait, are we planning a track day or are we meeting to plan for a track day?

Track day at high plains raceway! We need to be there about 7 am for the 7:30 drivers meeting.

They go every Friday this month (I can probably only do this first one)

Woot! My track shoes are on! (OEMs with some tread left) now I just need to chase down a cheap helmet and a carboy fuel can!

I wont be off till 12, plus the drive up... I think im out, damn it. Is it 150 to run

Its 90 for half day

DOT 4 brake fluid and HP+ racing pads are going on tomorrow at MAC auto sports!

I have:

1. brake oil cooler (25 row Stillen kit)
2. track brake pads (HP plus race pads) going on tomorrow
3. high temp brake fluid (Motul RBF600)
4. somewhat disposable (OEM Potenza) tires to burn up. (went on today... I'm glad I kept em around)

I do not have:

1. cooling ducts (I'm hoping race pads and fluid will suffice)
2. Fuel starvation fix (I plan to top off every stop from a 5 gallon jug I'm bringing)
3. Diff cooler (but I don't use VLSD so I believe its ok) (also I did add a NISMO vented diff cover when I put in the Quaife helical LSD)

Realisticly I wont make it till about 2 but I dont have much to pack. A helmet, gloves, cigarettes and boogie. I'll hit you up Shadezz on Friday to kinda be in the loop. Sucks that its just us three though.

PSS hopefully I get baby girl tomorrow!

Guys I have two other friends that are coming...both with corvettes. One has been before the other will be a newbie like us.
