Well, I think if we can apply Darwinism to car, this is a prime example. I kinda hope it gets stolen and torn apart, so we never have to see it

Plasti-diped rear liscence plate area. He took the sport spoiler off, then put a universal spoiler on by drilling new holes. Didn't cover or weld the old holes..... It was sad, riced out completely. He had a huge daps racing sticker on the front window. The plasti-dip looked horrible, not done right. I could go on. I was blown away a person would do that to a 370.... But to each his own I guess....

I saw him when he rolled in. Didn't look at it too much in detail. I saw the wing and was immediately turned off.

Oh and I've seen the equivalent on this forum.... in terms of people chopping up their 370's. Hehehe.

This is what I have been up to, I was given a Cusco tow hook for my 370Z from my friend who sold his 370Z. I have been painting, sanding then painting again to get this blue with metal flake in it..... Maybe I am a little to picky but I finally got the blue with flake I wanted after 6hrs of trial and error (not counting cure or dry time). All for a part I won't put on my car unless I need it.... I refuse to run it daily. I was also given a lot of random 370 Fairlady Z things that he picked up while in Japan. I am debating putting them on. As I debadge all my cars. Its just the way I like to run. No attention, look twice to see what I do.

So I am going to ask for you're opinion. Will the license plate and or Fairlady Z emblem (real deal from japan). Draw alot of attention?

Here is the Pic of the Tow Hook curing after I finally got the blue!

And unmasked, Finished but I couldn't find decent lighting so I used the Z's hatchlight. I will post pics installed when I get better lighting. The pics just don't do it justice!

Finished wet sanding the clear coat, debating going ahead and painting the remaining metal.

Lmao I saw that dude on bd a few weeks ago. Rolled up next to me and started asking questions about my turbo kit. He said he wanted to go twins. His gf said 'he loves working on cars, he did all of this himself!' They seemed like nice people. Then he took off on me, but ended up seeing nothing but my tail lights, even with his surprise attack.

Sometimes I wish car people were more supportive of each other.

His car isn't to everyone's tastes, and he might not be as meticulous with the details (and it looks like he has damage on his rear right fender too), but I don't think we should rail on the guy - he has a passion for his car, just like we do, and he expresses that in his own way. Maybe he lacks the help he needs to do things the right way, and he certainly has the balls to go it alone (I don't).

I saw his car at IFO and noticed similar details to you guys, but I don't think it's right to put him on blast over it.

There's always someone out there who doesn't quite like this **** you've done to your car.

I'd also like to register my interest in any of the Fairlady Z stuff you say you're pondering over, should you decide not to run them... :tiphat:
