I am 71 and thinking I am in the running for oldest 370 owner. Started out with MG's in the 60's and worked up through Healeys and 'vettes. Love the z. If you see a midnight blue with tinted windows in Henderson wave back. :)

i USED to like flashing my lights (daytime), old boy, at oncoming zeds, feelin' all comradery, butt, not so much anymore...either zee-er peeps are too busy paying attention to the traffic at hand or my lights are out...

CC...i've no experience w/vettes (thou i'm one...) butt, i understand the very newest one is da bomb (exception, maybe, taillights...see camaro...)

i've always thought it was easily the prettiest designed american car...classic, steam-lined, race-ready...however, interior inferior and that's where it "gets" me...older now and mellower and never having been thru the race-by-the-seat-0'-your-pants platoon whence younger, i loved me some zed cockpit appointments and have since cushioned my expanded bottom to be embraced by high quality sheep-skin seat covers, thou i love good leather...

if'n you buy it i'd like to co-pilot w/u someday...

Anyone else looking for tires? I am going to tires places checking on prices and availability etc. Yes tires.com and all that but tire stores will price match. But if someone is looking for tires I can ask about availibility for your size, width and sidewall and get a price while I am going around. So far, I guess there is an identical Gun Metal grey 370Z going around doing the same thing. He got some epic falkens and hankooks. If you are on here. I envy you sir.

Anyone have advice on what tire to go with? I am looking into Nitto NT05s but they are 500 for a pair of 270/35/19. Since I can't go down to 18s I need to start looking into the 19'' tire world. I can get 18'' tires cheap, but I can't find anyone who can get deals on 19s.

When I had to replace a tire, tirerack was the cheapest.

I went with Discount and took them a price from Trie Rack and they matched it. Still for 19" there are not any deals that I have found.

You won't find any deals if you are looking at r compound tires. You got to pay if you want to play on sticky tires. If you want a great priced tire that will perform in most situations, I would suggest Bridgestone's Pole Position SO-4s. You should be able to get stock sizes for about $800 for the set. Slightly more if you go large on the rears. I have them and I am boosted, but I don't track so they pretty much handle what I through down. The difference is I would get more grip for about the first 5k or so with more sticky tire while they are new. :ugh2:

have the gun metal Z with carbon fiber stripes running hankook evos, 275/35/19 up front and 295/35/19 in back, dropped on H&R springs. Got a great deal thru paladin back in the day.

I know its weird but I am a firm believer in give credit when it is due. Orlando a sales rep/Manager/Fellow Z owner at Discount Tire on Azure and Tenaya. He helped me out alot today. I picked up a set of tires for a great price and he was willing and able to work with me and my insanely high standards when it comes to size, width, price and brand. When it comes to tires I feel like a 3 yr old who gets to pick what he eats for dinner. They have some ''used'' 19's there if someone is looking for burners. But honestly the tires look brand new (90% thread or more) for a good price. If you want and or need tires talk to Orlando. The number there is (702) 658-1226. My quest for 19's is over.......for now and it was one hell of a search.
