Vegas Speak Up!

The stock oil cooler is only a bandaid. I want to start doing speed ventures and before this thing can see track time it needs a legit oil cooler.

I think I want a tranny cooler. My clutch gets soft and sticky after a while of driving.

JENZ 03-05-2014 05:47 PM

Time to upgrade the clutch

Nooooo. Can't be already. That thing was like brand new.

SS_Firehawk 03-05-2014 05:51 PM

My clutch gets soft when hooning too. I need another upgrade...

Infamous 03-05-2014 06:01 PM

Damn it. What have you been looking at?

SS_Firehawk 03-05-2014 07:24 PM

I was looking at Specialty Z's clutch/flywheel offering. I'd love to have an OS Giken twin disc, but that $hit cost serious money. Being SC'd, it's not as hard on the clutch as turbos, so I went with the JWT combo. It works, but it gets soft, really soft when hot. I was looking at insulating the clutch line if possible as it passes near my headers.

JENZ 03-05-2014 07:29 PM

Fix it right the first time!

Slight change in our plans. I am rolling out with Ryan from his work cause he's the closer tonight so I'll be even earlier than 7:30

Pulley

Thanks Infamous, just had the pulley installed this morning and the increase in throttle response is really noticeable. The car definitely feels lighter, and the pulley seemingly makes up for some of the low-end TQ lost with my Art pipes.

What a difference...not like force induction different, but a noticeable difference none the less.

Thanks again man.

Well, if things pan out, I may be working in PHX for a year. Not sure what to do with my house or where to put the car. I'll really need another car to commute with. I can't afford to drive this thing every day.
