What's it actually like over there? I've haven't been to a street meet since I moved to the States. Is it a bunch of 18yo illiterates with big mufflers on sh*t cars doing donuts and drinking Henny from Coke bottles, or will I see some proper machines and meet decent people?

I won't bother if it's just a teen scene.

Well there are usually 30-50 cars that show up each week; there's a bunch of different groups really. I wouldn't say there are uber-mature & awesome cars, but it's a great place just to hang out? & just talk.

Also, I just saw on TQPI that you got through to round 2 on GT academy. Congrats, man. I didn't have the patience to put in the times. Plus I spent most of January in Philippines (my wedding) so there wasn't time. Good going though - must have been tough. :tiphat:

EDIT: Okay, I didn't make it, but I have a GREAT excuse - I was stuck in the dealership until almost midnight buying MY Z!! So maybe next week?! At least this time I'll be bringing a suitable ride of my own :)

Does anybody know where to have stainless steel brake and clutch lines replaced here in N. Las Vegas? Any help would be great, thanks!

Actually I heard a kool story from Ducky last time we met up; also on this Vegas thread (blue 370Z) He told me about you buying a new Z; red, 5k miles, 26.9k price... LOL that was the one I test drove as well! I was at united Nissan 1 month ago to look @ trading in my RSX for that one;

Haha yeah man, I thought it was pretty funny when you told me you'd driven my car before I did. I know its selfish to say, but I'm SO glad you didn't buy it because it'd be in your garage and not mine, and I LOVE my car.

Truth is, I just don't think there are that many around. I know 4 guys in town with 370s. Apart from those I only see like 2 a month on the road.

It's cool though - gives you that exclusive feeling even though, inevitably, the exclusivity will die down as more pop up.

I'm visiting vegas for a few days...Spotted a pw nismo with gunmetal wheels on sahara, around 3pm Saturday. Whoever it was, looked good!
