What's it actually like over there? I've haven't been to a street meet since I moved to the States. Is it a bunch of 18yo illiterates with big mufflers on sh*t cars doing donuts and drinking Henny from Coke bottles, or will I see some proper machines and meet decent people? I won't bother if it's just a teen scene. |
Well there are usually 30-50 cars that show up each week; there's a bunch of different groups really. I wouldn't say there are uber-mature & awesome cars, but it's a great place just to hang out? & just talk.

Also, I just saw on TQPI that you got through to round 2 on GT academy. Congrats, man. I didn't have the patience to put in the times. Plus I spent most of January in Philippines (my wedding) so there wasn't time. Good going though - must have been tough. :tiphat: EDIT: Okay, I didn't make it, but I have a GREAT excuse - I was stuck in the dealership until almost midnight buying MY Z!! So maybe next week?! At least this time I'll be bringing a suitable ride of my own :) |
Does anybody know where to have stainless steel brake and clutch lines replaced here in N. Las Vegas? Any help would be great, thanks!

LOL that was the one I test drove as well! I was at united Nissan 1 month ago to look @ trading in my RSX for that one; It has the illuminated kick plates too right? Awesome car! Just wanna say congrats! on your awesome purchase & let's definitely meetup on the next meet; GT Academy ends this sunday; I will be on it until the end, but getting top 8 will be a stretch.... will do my best! |

I get all my work done @ Uehara Motoworks on Spring Mtn. & Arville; basically across china town. Person who owns the shop is Mori; I trust all the work he does & he just recently changed my clutch & flywheel, perfect job; it's now fully broken in with no problems, and he is a very kool guy; like you can be in the shop & talk to him while he works on your car type guy. Here is the number to the shop: 454-6680 & here is his webpage: Mori W (Uehara Motowerks,Inc) on Myspace |
thanks koji. i will check it out.

Haha yeah man, I thought it was pretty funny when you told me you'd driven my car before I did. I know its selfish to say, but I'm SO glad you didn't buy it because it'd be in your garage and not mine, and I LOVE my car. Yeah it has the illuminated kick plates, which was a bonus because I was gonna order those anyway. Saved myself 200 bucks. I haven't driven it in three days actually. Getting major withdrawal symptoms. Something must be going on this week. I want a good excuse to take it out. :) |

Why is that I've been in Vegas for a week and all over the place(had a camaro rental) and not one 370Z sighting??????
Where are all the Z's? |
i think mostly everyone here is in aliante? I don't see a lot of 370z either :<

It's cool though - gives you that exclusive feeling even though, inevitably, the exclusivity will die down as more pop up. |
I'm visiting vegas for a few days...Spotted a pw nismo with gunmetal wheels on sahara, around 3pm Saturday. Whoever it was, looked good!
