Garages in Phoenix, AZ????
Hi all, I just purchased my first used 370 a couple of months ago and am looking for a legit mechanic/body shop to have look at my car and do some work soon. First thing I need to take care of is the excessive wear to the inside tread of the front tires. The car is dropped on Eibach springs and I'm not sure what the camber settings are at the moment but i need to get this corrected. Looking for a reasonably priced shop that is honest to deal with. Any suggestions?

I deal a lot with vivid racing... They are a sponsor on here too. Always been great to deal with.

Sounds like who ever bought the springs didn't buy a rear camber kit which is almost a must if you lower your car. The SPC Rear Camber arms are only I think like $150 and are what you'll need as the stock camber arms are not adjustable enough to correct the negative camber you have.
As said before, look into Vivid Racing. Good shop, ask for Phil. |

hello i just got my z and i am barely moving to mesa AZ and my first mod on my z is the exhaust, i guess the only question is, is there any laws that i should be aware of, here in texas inspection sucks on us cause you cant run test pipes and stuff do to the fact that it doesnt pass inspection, is it the same over there in AZ
|
Nope, we don't have inspection here. Besides, if we did, you could always find a crooked inspection tech. It happens all the time in Texas!
The only thing you have to worry about here in AZ is emissions. Test pipes might cause you to fail, I'm not sure. Basically if you have no CELs and you're not running rich, you're probably going to pass. Or you can keep your OEM catalytic converter and slap it on for emissions every 2 years. |
