New kart racing facility in Phoenix
 

Have you guys seen this - K1 Speed has opened a new center in Phoenix these guys are popular out west and a blast to race at - check out the website

track is something like 1200 feet long, and has a 56 foot long tunnel to race through ....

That looks bad ***. The track layout looks pretty sweet too.

This is not new. This facility with racing has been around for a while. However it looks like it is under new managment. SWEET! I think I will go this weekend.

If you wanna go, go to F-1 Race Factory on 48th Street and the 202. It's awesome! Me and JoeZ had a blast the last time we went. It's a little pricey for membership, but then all races after that are cheap!

K1 is indoor electric ...the origional place used to be gas karts - big difference between the two the karts accelerate quicker with electric over gas

It really doesn't matter what the motor is, both are fun... :ugh2:

I'm heading to K1 speed today sometime after noon to check it out. The NOM mobile will make its appearance.

My group is going to try to be there at noonish. We don't know how many will be in our group.

We're going to K1, not F1. I want to check out the new place.

2 hour wait and I've already seen 2 awesome crashes

That was fun. First time out and i'm about three seconds off of the quickest laps (still not in the top 100). Definitely going to do that again.

I was there when the number one lap happened. It was a fluke of timing. All of that guys other laps were in the high 30s and 40s.

idk if anyone has been in yet, they have a grand opening party this saturday feb26th with Boris Said and Mike Skinner in Attendance ....might be worth checking out
