I'm pretty sure he is, but the car's another story (good chance it'll be totaled). I keep searching and can't find any news on the crash anywhere, which is probably a good thing (not newsworthy = no fatalities). I was worried but seriously it didn't look THAT bad... I was in a similar but worse wreck that destroyed my 3rd gen eclipse gt, gave me a few stitches and a lifelong backache, but like I said it *looked* like he was able to shed some speed before hitting the wall, and we weren't going fast at all to begin with (~70 I'd say). I'll keep looking for news stories to make sure there wasn't a pileup behind him, but it looked fine (and no highway patrol has called me for a statement yet). Just sad to see a brother Z go down.

In happier news, I'd love to go to a Phoenix meet sometime!
