First Arizona Thread....

I just did one yesterday at Firebird. ProAutoSports runs track days monthly. Lots of fun.

Do they have instructors that'll ride along?

I'm thinking you may have to end up paying for the class, such as Bondurant or the one over here in West Phoenix.

Though, I must say I have the itch now to do some sort of track driving - I did the Raptor Round-Up at Firebird and even at 30-40mph, jumping the Raptors on a dirt course was a blast.

Though, it's a bit easier to be excited about it when it's the first time you've ever done anything like that (aside from Speed Street/F1 Race Factory go-karts).

Yes, instructors ride along. Your first time, they actually require a short training class and the instructor must ride the first session. You will get 3 more 20 minute lapping sessions that same day and the ride along is up to you. Also, the instructors are always available to ride at any of the track days. Great resource for learning new tracks and techniques. They will be having another set of track days Thanksgiving weekend at Firebird if you want to see. Also, some pics of last set on sandersracephotos.com. I highly recommend Trying it.
