Here it IS! Looks pretty good to me, I don't think there giving any of a discount for doing it all with them, but they are pretty busy as is and people keep lining up for the kit. I feel like I'd rather pay a little more and have the masterminds that designed the kit install it for me :) This isn't including the Defi Gauges and POD I want so that's why I'm thinking a little closer to $22k. I want 3; boost, exhaust temp, and air/fuel on the driver side pillar. Sounds like the pod would have to be custom made by one of their guys.

Dude nice! Good thing you got ahold of Kevin! They will square you away and take care of you! So jealous hah! I was getting ready to do this soon but I'm going to build an s2000 track car since everything is cheaper lol.

UMS or Goodspeed will take care of you -

I haven't heard very good things about DynoComp

Hotrodz 06-13-2015 08:09 PM

Yup, you are making the right decision to have the work done by FI or SZ. Listen to Nick he got the info you need for general service. There are a number of good shops in Phoenix for that.

I've actually heard of UMS now that I think of it! All good things, so that's a good sign!
I can't wait to talk to Kevin on Tuesday and officially be in the books for the next kit. It's going to be absolutely nuts. My only worry is getting back on e85 gas. Gonna have to do some research to see if there are any gas stations on the way back home. Otherwise I'll have to ship it :( not nearly as fun as road tripping it back!

And thx hotrodz. Once she's done, we gotta get together brotha! 2 nismos done up like this will be the talk of the scene ;)

Brother you will be smiling in your sleep once you get your ride boosted. There is nothing like it. Also, you may want to consider getting tuned with EcuTek because it allows you to flex fuel that way you don't have to worry about were you need to fill up. :happydance: Yup we will have to meet up for sure...right now I'm planning on coming to Phoenix/Gilbert area in July so I will be letting folks know what I can do about meeting up once I get things nailed down.

NickTurnon 06-15-2015 09:49 AM

I am going in for a new color change very soon :)

Should be a fun change of pace! Hopefully you all can check it out in July if we get together

Haboob 06-15-2015 09:57 AM

I vote something with a Volt Yellow.

Kind of want to do my wheels in that colour.

I'll have to talk to Kevin about that for sure. Maybe when I'm just needing to cruise or those longer distance rides where e85 isn't an option. I'm having a convo with him tomorrow about the whole thing so I'll bring it up there.

I absolutely agree theres nothing like it! I've been boosted just about every car I've had. LOL Celica GT-S, 350z, 09 370z...Problem is once you've had it and it's gone, it haunts your dreams! :roflpuke2:

How about Lambo Green or something like that rusty/brown that Jeep has for choice on the Cherokee, it looks good.

Anyone ever dyno tuned with goodspeed? My friend with a V8 Camaro recommended me to them and he said he got dyno tuned for little under 400$ (around 320ish if I remember correctly) and siad I could get mine dyno'd for maybe even cheaper.

NickTurnon 06-24-2015 10:53 AM

Dyno'd or dyno tuned?
A few dyno runs can be had for $50-75. I found a tuner to do mine for $35 for 5 runs

An actual custom dynotune shouldnt be cheaper then $500 or so unless its a hookup from a tuner friend.

I think UMS does tuning for the Z for around that price. Goodspeed is a little more expensive if I am not mistaken. Dynocomp is still the most expensive.. Ive been quoted as high as $950 for everything for a custom tune. It just depends on who you call

Did you get any mods yet Louiey?

He said he got it completely dyno tuned on his camaro. It was kinda hard to believe, so I sent them an email. Never got a response back.

And I haven't got much mods installed. Only got ti tip short tails, but I'm still saving up for some mods, so it's tbd? :p
