I've flogged it pretty hard in the mountains for a good hour or two when I got it, and I didn't see over 235ish. I pay very close attn to my oil, and I consider myself a bit of an oil snob, as I browse BITOG oil forums religously. lol. If it gets too high, then on goes the cooler, though! Just saw your last post...I've got a base.
