Oh no! Its okay I tried to call shadez to tell him I couldn't make it I got off at 5am this morning from work and had to go deposit a check at the USAA bank down in the springs. If you guys ever meet up again be sure to let me know!

Fell 23, So sorry we missed you. We took off to a bigger carshow at hooters about 1pm maybe you came later sorry if you felt stood up.

Import, I am totally up for getting together for some track days! I know you are putting in a cooler soon. Order that bad boy up and lets get lapping!
Z-1 got mine to me in a few days and have awesome phone service. Ask them your Stillen questions and either drop it in yourself (I'd love to come by and give you a hand if you like) or MAC Autosports in Parker (that's the shop I was talking to your dad about)

Maybe I'll see you guys again next weekend at the carshow (I'll bring my own models thank you if we want photos... Those hooters car girls were... different)

one last thing I'd like to find contact info for the Colorado Z club. I think it would be fun to make some road rallys. Meet at a coffee house then buzz 285 through south park then over the pass for lunch in Brekenridge or something....

We need at least 4 Zs to be respectable I'd say.

By the way Import, you dad seems very nice and obviously is cool and has a fun love of cars so please don't take offense but... I almost asked for his autograph when I met him too... (don't tell him I said so)

Also for you guys thinking about powder coating wheels....for 70-75 a wheel he will fully sandblast wheels, smooth curb damage and give you choice of color, gloss.....
Here is the set I had done for my Scion Xb!!!

I think I'm going black again but maybe with a little touch of gloss over the satin black. Any input would help!!

I think black would look really good on your car Shadezz... not sure how glossy to go on wheels but in your case with the way you wet look them I think glossy would look great.

IMHO you should Consider Berk High flow cats instead of test pipes.
The cats will keep you legal at smogtime and still give great power and sound (you heard mine)

p.s. The only thing standing between me and powdercoating my wheels a darker grey is the logistics of getting my wheels down to the powdercoater.

I think light grey or white might look good if you decide to do your calipers (it would stand off well from your dark body/rims.

Whenever you guys decide to get together and bake/paint you headlights let me know. I want moral support and help when I do mine and I think we could have a fun time banging them out. Shadezz, your car needs them most of all to darken up a bit. (I'm mostly doing mine so they wont reflect so much laser) lol.

Yeah it was fun meeting you guys! I'll order the oil cooler as soon as I can. The HKS exhaust keeps calling my name even though I know the oil cooler is more important right now. Someone just posted a used HKS exhaust in the classifieds. Seeing that I can get it $2k new, you think it would be worth offering the guy less than $1600? What do you think it is worth?

I'm going to register for that car show on Sunday. I'll see you guys there! I'm hoping the weather is nice.

SurfDog, Ha! Don't worry I know. My dad has a unique look. No offense taken!

Shadezz, Will you have that exhaust on by the car show? I'd love to hear it.

I think I'm going to pass on the wheels and headlights for now. The wheels are intriguing, but I guess I want other items first. Definitely willing to help out on headlights though. I've done that before on a Subaru so I'm assuming it will roughly be the same procedure. Happy to help.

Yes I should be here Friday or Saturday!!! If I was you I would for the extra couple hundred dollars go ahead with a new system as you'll feel better knowing you've enjoyed it since new. Plus at that price I would expect something new!!

Guys are you going to sign up for the Colorado Z club? I think I'll submit my application next week after the show1!1

Is there a good weekend that you'll be off or on vacation in the next month? We could plan together to do the wheels together, but will need to remove tires also. Expect 2 days without your wheels. We could even plan a trip out there to his massive shop (64th in Commerce city) to check colors and time frames if you want before hand.

Also what IFR routes do you fly for Southwest? I'm would like to punch it in to my flight sim x and take the Citation X, or Lear45 for a Southwest route!!!

Thanks for the flight plan!!! As far as getting the tires off the rims, my guys at discount tires on 120th and grant will take them off and reinstall for around 13 bucks a tire including tpms sensors. The will not scratch with fresh powdercoating as they have the advanced machines. Let me know the week or weekend you would like to do it!! Im open to do the headlights soon too!
