For drifting only, I'm guessing welded -- but probably it will be twitchy/likely to fall apart for a DD...

Do not use a welded diff. if you want the car to push and go straight. dirving it on the road when its slick is just un predictable what the car will do. .

if your using for drift only fine but go clutch type LSD or shim the hell out of that VLSD.

I have a open diff out of a 7AT I would sell you if they are the same a the 6MTs.
