W.t.b. 370z Nismo miles can be High, please read
Evening 370z folks. We are in need of a preferred '09 nismo that we are doing a race car conversion to. The miles can be high and doesn't have to be a 'prom queen' as it will be outfitted with full wrap, new panels, stripped interior, etc. Anyone have any leads on one? We have secured the 1st one out of TX and need the 2nd. Has to be Nismo edition.
We have certified funds ready to go at this point and trying hard to make the purchase before the Xmas holiday arrives so it can be sent to race prep facility on our end and duplicate first car. I can let folks in on what we are up to soon in terms of racing and there will be an array of press releases to follow soon after Jan 1st of 2012, so please limit the questions there if possible and greatly appreciate any and all help in locating the best nismo out there in the $15-22k range. We will take 100k miles if car is straight and can have it shipped back home to VA no problem. Please either PM me or call my cell direct at 540-607-6098 anytime and leave a vm if I don't answer and I will return the call right away... Thanks for your time and this forum will be getting contacted by our media professionals in due time to help expose and give back. Sincerely, Greg Shaffer |

Bumping along as this continues to be urgent.... Also, we are at PRI in Orlando, FL and if you would like to read about part "A" of this 2 car Nissan team, you can visit Grassroots Motorsports Mag website and there should be a press release coming about any day now or earlier today.... Thanks once again for your help.

Will keep an eye out but im not even sure you could pick up an 09 base for 22K,much less a nismo. I also have a hard time believing an 09 out there has close to a 100k miles. GL OP

hey guys, thanks a bunch for the info..... i think i have located one w/ 44k miles for right at mid 20's that is Nismo......
question for some of you: (and had one person already ask about wheels that would we would DEF part out as in World Challenge, we have to run a 18" wheel setup from Rays Wheels) 1: when i part out the factory 19" wheels, what do you think would be a fair price to ask for them to some of you guys??? is $1,000 for all 4 w/ rubber on them in decent tread, a fair deal or too much?? 2: do you think the Nismo Seats would be of any interest to folks w/ 'non Nismo' 370z's to swap into their car?? i would assume they would be a direct bolt-in on the factory seat rails.... if you think someone would be all over doing this sort of swap for the Nismo seats, what do you think would be a fair price for the pair of those seats??? obviously, we'll be gutting all the interior all together and putting in a full race seat... we will have door panels, seats, and all other trim components available when we strip it down... i guess my general question is: do you think some of this stuff will have decent value to it?? thanks for anyone willing to take the time to answer for me... turning some of this stuff back into cash will be a great help to move along in our regular race build budgets.... cheers guys. thanks for being very responsive to my 1st ever posts at your fantastic forum site! i will be creating a full World Challenge build thread so that all can follow along as this project kicks into high gear here pretty soon for anyone that is curious to what we are up to. 2. I've seen posted with folks who switched to aftermarket seats selling thier nismo seats, not sure on cost tho, might want to search the old for sale threads. 3. the nismo interior has the nice red stitching so I'm reasonably sure you'll be able to move all of it, for how much $$, again, not for sure. |

to: FL 4 motion..... Thanks MUCH for your info sir.... great feedback and anyone else that wants to jump in on the subject, i'll take as much information as i can get my hands on...!!! you guys have been so helpful at this point and we do intend to advertise 370z Forums.com in small logos on the 2 car team.. also, Nissan Motorsports will have a very large trailer / fan media setup at like 4 of the key events in World Challenge this year (to be announced thus far i think) but there is going to be a LOT of interaction w/ all Z-car fans and we will once again be running most support races for IRL and also ALMS new for this year w/ World Challenge, so there will be plenty to see/do on these weekends now the races will be tape-delay televised on NBCsports (currently Versus channel, but will change to NBC sports on Jan.2nd of this coming year) ... Nissan will also be the official pace-car of each World Challenge race in the Leaf car... so nissan is putting plenty of factory support behind the series as well as the all-new "B-Spec" series running at 3 of the 9 WC races.... going to be a great '12 season for all race fans following these series and more to come.
thanks again for all the help/support on my questions... cheers. Greg Shaffer |
