For the price of a muffler delete, just buy high flow cats. Better sound, real power gains, etc.

That's hilarious! :bowrofl:

Have you tried swinging by a local muffler shop to see how much they'd charge you?

Well that sucks. I know we had a member who had some fabbed up but he ended up selling them a while back.

This is a good suggestion. Unbolt the muffler but don't remove it. Slip some washers in and bolt her back down.

it would be an okay alternativee if I wasn't a patient man but I kinda wanna lose the 40+ lbs of muffler weight (estimating) plus I don't think it will sound the same as a straight pipe. Any sound clips?

ok.... i got a little impatient and I decided to try the washers out. It does work very well at low rpm but the higher the rpm's the lower it gets:( made an appointment monday to get a decent set of delete pipes fabbed.
overall im gonna be a happy camper for 2 days, thanks for the idea.
