WTB: Stock VLSD asap!

I am growing sick and tired of my open peg legged diff..

anyone upgrading to a real LSD and want to sell me your OEM VLSD ill take it off your hands ASAP! I dont need the pumpkin but will take that if that is what you have out of a totaled car or something too...

Please let me know if you have one!

thanks a bunch!

You will also need the side shafts off a sport pumpkin or to buy new ones.

If you can get a complete sport pumpkin off a crash car the swap is much easier and quicker.

Is there somewhere else other than my local dealership to pick up those side shafts. Have any companies put together a package with everything you need to put in a LSD if you don't have one?

chuck if you're gonna do it, do it right man, that VLSD wont fit your needs one bit, believe me.

^what red said, and I think if you go with a carbonetic you don't even have to change out the axle stubs

Nope sure dont, in the base, it bolts right up out of the box, only people that need the side shafts for an LSD upgrade are the Sport package owners, yay for base! If $1400 is too rich for your blood, the carbonetic metal 1.5 can be had for 1k.

^Thats one hell of a buy IMO

I would def take a pumpkin out of a crashed car before i went with the quaife or carbonetics.. $250-400 or 1500, Im not going to be tracking the car its more or less because its lame right now with the open diff. and even a vlsd for cheap would make me a much happier person.

My car is also a lease so it would be easiest for sure if I could some how get the whole VLSD Pumpkin to swap.

Dont get me wrong though your diff is prob the best thing you purchased for your car.

You sure about that? I sure hope the sport doesn't need side shafts, that would be back asswards.

yes, its even stated on a few disclaimers before buying the LSD.

ooh yeah the only aftermarket diff i found that doesn't need an extra base axle to fit in a sport is the quaife fd13l. I ended up getting the fd11l which is for a base and had to wait 2 months to get a damn stub shaft because nissan had them on backorder. apparently it's easiest to get the fd13l straight from quaife but it still will cost you ~1600
