I don't think that hanger extension is a stock piece. The driver side Nismo muffler hanger should be a single piece (LH 20742-JL00A), and the insulator should insert onto a rod on the hanger - the bolt used to secure the insulator is definitely not stock.

Sorry I guess I just hadn't seen that before. I was looking at a diagram on Courtesy Nissan's website that appears to be incorrect. I see the correct Nismo diagram on several other sites now - $40+ for that piece seems like a ripoff. Good luck finding one

Here is another photo of the critter...

You are saying this extension is not a factory Nissan part?

I think I went to a 2015 MY for the Nismo Exhaust image

Whats interesting is I find two part numbers:

20794-6GA0A Bracket Exhaust $43.77 each
B0794-1A30A Bracket Exhaust $198.42 each

This bracket is needed to install a 2016 Nismo muffler on a 2010 Touring.

I dont find an image or online pic of either bracket so, dont know which one I really need.

Well $200 sounds absolutely outrageous to me for that part, so I would guess it is the $40 part. I might be tempted to call up Z1 and see if they could help.

Do you really need it? I've been running without that and everything seems good.

Makes me wonder if I really need it, but the tips dont protrude fron the rear of the car the same amount. Its like the muffler isnt quite square in the car. Both tips are level and look good from the rear, but looking across the rear bumper you see one tip (driverside) sticking out a little.

If Nissan spent the time and money to create the front driver side muffler hanger assy, they must have thought it was needed.
