2010 Z Nationals @ Z1 Motorsports is only 3 months away!!

Everyone,
I know that we have alot of new members joining in daily, so I would like to reannounce a great weekend event for those on the East Coast (as well as the rest of the nation for that matter).

The 2010 Z Nationals -- the 6th year of this event -- will be held on the final weekend of September (24th - 26th). With the introduction of the 370Z almost two years ago, we are excited to host another great event dedicated to this great vehicle mark. We have witnessed an ever growing number of attendees year after year and are looking forward to even larger numbers this year.

2010 Schedule:

-Thu. September 23th, 2010 - Z1 Motorsports Carrollton, GA. Early arrivals can check in on Thursday evening and get their track inspections taken care of in advance to save time on Friday morning.

-Fri. September 24th, 2010 - Talladega Gran Prix Track Day Talledega AL 8am-5pm $150 Registration Fee.

September 24th will be the official Z Nationals kick off with the always popular Talladega Grand Prix track day. This event is limited to 40 participants, although spectators are welcome. Registration will open very soon for the track event, cost as in the past will be $150.

-Sat. September 25th, 2010 - Show / Dyno Competition / Open House at Z1 Motorsports. Dinner, Awards, & Party Afterwards.

September 25th is the meat of the Z Nationals weekend. Car show, dyno competition, and the incredible give-a-ways that have made Z Nationals famous all take place on Saturday. All Saturday activites are located at the Z1 Motorsports facility in Carrollton, GA. Car show registration is free and available the day of the event. All Zs and Gs are invited to participate.

-Sun. September 26th, 2010 - Alabama International Dragway. Steele, AL.

Sunday, September 25th will feature the conclusion the 2010 Z Nationals festivities with a full day at the local 1/4 drag strip. Featured on PINKS, the Alabama International Raceway is an NHRA approved 1/4 mile track. With ample parking and staging areas, its time to line them up and see who is the quickest down the 1/4 mile.

Like last year, our event hotel will be the Hampton Inn in Breman, Ga (About 10 mins from Z1 Motorsports / ~45 mins from the Tracks on Friday). To register for your hotel room, please follow the link here:

Registration:

Registration for the various activities, including the Track Day and Dyno Competition are now available for everyone. Please be aware that there are a limited amount of Track Day openings available. This is a great chance for first time track participants to experience their Z/G's full throttle in a safe and controlled enviornment. Talledega Gran Prix Raceway is an exceptional facility featuring a variety of both tight and high speed corners as well as a wide grassy run off (Great for first time track participants who might push a little to hard).

Thanks for not scheduling it the same weekend as the Petit Le Mans.

You telling me! I ve already bought my tickets for this year's Petit. About half of the shop is going (and wanted to go last year). So it works out better for everyone.

You guys camping again or just going for the race on Saturday?

Hmm, thats a good question. I may just go for the race on Saturday but we'll see. I used to camp out for it but its been awhile.
