Default a/f gauge stopped after pumping 93

I just moved to austin from LA and they don't have 91, only 93. I pump my first full tank here, I turn the car on, and my a/f gauge just gives me ---. coincidence or do I need a new map? drove around a bit, started and stopped the car running errands, and still nothing. why is my life falling apart?

Probably coincidence. It happens.

The sensor is most likely dead, which one do you have?

Yep. When the sensor fails you get --.-- readings. It's unlikely the fuel killed it -- even if it had a lot of ethanol in it -- they just fail after a while, especially if running rich.

You probably need this part (search around -- you'll find a Bosch or Denso that will fit but may be cheaper Universal EMS Wideband UEGO Sensor Kit

Check your model to ensure right p/n....
