a/f gauge stopped after pumping 93
I just moved to austin from LA and they don't have 91, only 93. I pump my first full tank here, I turn the car on, and my a/f gauge just gives me ---. coincidence or do I need a new map? drove around a bit, started and stopped the car running errands, and still nothing. why is my life falling apart? :icon14:

Probably coincidence. It happens.
The sensor is most likely dead, which one do you have? |
AEM wideband. I just got it put in about a month ago. The boost gauge works fine and its a glowshift lol

Yep. When the sensor fails you get --.-- readings. It's unlikely the fuel killed it -- even if it had a lot of ethanol in it -- they just fail after a while, especially if running rich.
You probably need this part (search around -- you'll find a Bosch or Denso that will fit but may be cheaper Universal EMS Wideband UEGO Sensor Kit Check your model to ensure right p/n.... |
thanks. I never want to mod a car ever again -_-

NA really stands for "never again" :icon14:
