Too New for UpRev
Got my exhaust, high flow cats and intake installed last week. Couldn't get the tune done because there's no map yet for my 2015 Nismo. My shop contacted UpRev today and apparently it's going to be a few weeks.
I understand and accept the situation as is, but it still makes me sad. :crying: Just a heads up to any of my fellow 2015 model people out there. Make sure there's actually proper UpRev settings for your car before dropping it off for a tune somewhere. |

We are all looking forward in hearing of the results as it is a new 2015 Nismo with a 7 speed automatic at that........:iagree: I met Mr Kris L the first week he joined the forum and he is a true gentleman...:iagree: -Clifford |
Hey guys, I took my 2015 Nismo to my local tuner and he said he could tune it himself custom apparently after extracting the file and getting it unlocked if necessary.
Also, KrisL when you installed your Stillen Gen3 CAI did anyone tell you if it would make a difference in HP or did you do it just for looks? My local guy said it would not make any difference in HP on the 2015 Nismo. I'm curiious to know. Thanks. Nick |
From what I've read and research the stillen CAI with the bumper off makes 20whp, with bumper on makes around 9whp. You don't really gain any low end torque but gain horsepower in the upper revs.
