I am in the process on getting an e-tune from John. It going on 3 months and he is EXTREMELY hard to get in touch with. Multiple attempts to contact him get unanswered. Its been 2 months since I got my initial flash and sent him logs using the 2 maps on the flash and now I'm kind of stuck. No updates, no response, nothing. No idea what the 2 maps are, how they differ or which one I should be using. Not sure if he's just abandoned my tune or what. I don't have an dyno runs, so I can't compare anything other than my experience. So far, the tune feels more responsive, less restrictive, but I haven't notice a jump in power. My car is running very well with the tune. I just don't think it's fine tuned yet. I was expecting a noticeable enough change that I would be thinking wow, I wish I'd done this earlier. Hopefully that is still to come.

For me, I noticed throttle response improvement right away. Nothing else was really noticeable (I'm mostly stock tho). Good luck getting ahold of John and getting your Z fine tuned

Got tuned by John himself last night at TX2K. Love it already. Launch control is great, works flawless and can be changed in what appears to be 400rpm increments using the steering wheel right cruises lever. No lift shift is awesome and the car feela smooth and completely consistent through the rev range. He was out there tuning 8-9 second GTRs and was busy most of the day but it was well worth it going to him. Don't have a dyno yet but will soon. but just those options added alone were worth the 350 for tune and license and 300 for the cable.

Glad you like the car/tune but in for the dyno. When are you going? What mods you have ( if I missed it)

Low compression built motor, 9.5:1 exhaust, test pipes, and K&N typhoons intakes. Numbers will probably be lower due to compression. As I'll be force feeding her soon. It's got some beadwork with the build. Hoping to see around 300whp. We shall see. I'm in school at UTI Dallas right now so whenever they have their next dyno day it'll happen... Just might be a little bit.

Quick update - I received the race rom flash from Visconti. New tune has 4 maps plus launch control and valet mode. Pretty exciting stuff.
