UpRev Tune Results for 14 370Z
1 Attachment(s)
309 WHP 257 TORQUE I went to Intec Racing in Kent, Washington for my 2nd Osiris Tune after installing my Z1 Test Pipes. Increased 12 HP from my previous Tune. Wow. Z1 doesn't claim 12 HP gains. I think the hot weather from my previous tune had something to do with it. Temp this morning was around 59 degrees. Funny thing, the bung extender (02 sensor) coming from the Z1 Test Pipes just fell off after the 1st run. It was just hanging down. Good thing Lawrence at Intec had a welder to weld the bung extender back on. Wheww. The welds on the pipe doesn't look solid so any more issues, Intec told me to bring it back and they will weld it properly. No more P2096 CEL codes. Atleast for now. |
Looks good man, I dyno with Z1 HFC's tomorrow. Tho my current tune is only for I:E and not HFC's. We'll see tho :)

Sorry OP for the thread jack...Back to the regularly scheduled program. Nice numbers :tiphat: I'd call Jon at Z1 and talk to him about the test pipe quality, unless you didn't buy direct from them, they are really good at standing by their products. |
Nice...let me know the results. Should be impressive.

Ordered the Pipes from Z1Motorsports. I should have intec re-weld the left side to insure it doesn't fall off. My friends over at Mobile Radio in Bremerton was pretty impressed with the sound of the test pipes. He heard it 3 blocks away.

12.9-13.2 would be running rich, not lean. |

Hey Jwick was WOT same yesterday AF was 12's up top. Maybe that explains why the car at 7100 the power falls of like a rock and the af's were 14's-13's and ending low 12's.
Made 285 WHP and only 230 WHTQ for sure for my mods I should see more but the AF's are in the 12's. OP what were you Af's? |

AHAH ok Yea took me a min to figure out how to attach a CSVfile, had to drop it into a ZIP. The tune I'm on should be in the 11's 11.3 to be exact? Not sure what's going on.

Was this Standard or SAE? Can you post a picture of the dyno print out. I Live in the area and get my tuning done at PSI down in Portland. I Made 318 at 8k rpms with Gen3's, Z1 tests, and Tomie y & y-back on a Dyno jet using standard correction. ON a different dyno I made 297 using SAE with a 5 smoothing factor. My AFR was 11.3. I as well blew a O2 bung off at the weld and had to have it rewelded. I was still making power at 8k, Jason at PSI asked if I wanted to raise the rev limiter even higher since power had not fallen off yet, I had him actually drop it down to 7.7k and made 316. I have seen a few people on here once crossing the 8k threshold the oil pump frags out. Mine never peaked, was a straight line all the way to 8k.

I don't have the print out of the actual tuning session, seem to have misplaced it, but I do have a picture of the dyno run a month later using the SAE. Straight line all the way to 7.7k, mind you this was for some fun power pulls at a car show on a mobile dyno. I will call down to PSI on moday and get a file emailed to me showing the actual tuning and it is straight all the way up as well.

I haven't received the sheets yet they get emailed to me but yea think my AF's are too high at 12.2 or so nothing below that and they're really high in the 14's to start :/
