Ok, thanks. Didn't think the thread was only turbo, since it says Rough idle with FI.

I personally think the fix is to route the crank case back pre-turbo rather than venting it to atmosphere, but nobody has ever been able to try it cuz the filter is directly on the turbo. With Sasha’s new intake relocating the filter, it would be possible to modify that intake pipe to accept the hoses. Of course that’s a theory.

If someone tries it, I’d probably recommend a minor retune.

Anymore updates on this? Deleting pcv helps?

Seb had me add two more filters to vent the hoses that go into intake manifold and plug the manifold ports.

Seems to solved any idle issues I have except when I'm on 91 and my iat hit over 120*. It gets a little weird but not nearly as rough as it was. With E85 my idle is perfect regardless of IAT. I've had it up to 145* and still no problems.

You can add the filters to the stock hoses, i added mine directly to the ports on the engine.

I'm sure every tuner is different but i asked about deleting the 2nd O2 sensors and he said not to, he uses them to still help provide fuel trims. They were a bit close to the clutch line for my liking and was hoping to get rid of them completely.

The original tuner in Tucson did just a SD tune and the car ran like crap. I had to get it retuned by Seb from what i understand (which is very little) Seb did a hybrid tune with MAF and SD as needed and the car feels like its stock now when i'm just cruising around town off boost.

My Vacuum at idle was reading about 15 inHg pre the addition of the 2nd set of filters and now its around 18-20 inHg.
jwick and JARblue like this.

Will oil not blow out into the engine bay under boost? Would a catch can be better? Would drilling out the pcv to vent more or converting them to open an fittings be a benefit?

1500 boosted miles so far and i don't see any oil in the engine bay at all. Catch can is probably better but i dont think its necessary for a street car. Not a lot of my time is spent at wot and full boost.
