Dyno Numbers @ RT Tuning

First off I have to say great things about RT Tuning out of Lansdale, PA. drove 2.5 hours each way to get my car tuned by the them and it was an all around great experience.

SO.....on A DynoJet

325HP
271Tq

w/
Stillen Gen 3 CAI's
Stillen Catback
GTM resonated test pipes

That horsepower # is one of the best I've seen for a N/A 370z, so needless to say i am excited and the car feels great, again big thanks to RT Tuning, check them out:tiphat:

Not bad! Especially for the little amount of mods.

Jordo! 07-10-2014 04:47 PM

Correction factor and value for cf...?

The only thing I can say about dyno numbers is it is a good way to tune your car and to compare numbers after mods. They are a tool but the numbers don't mean anything past that.

Vince tuned my Nismo. Great guy.

2011 Nismo#91 07-11-2014 09:00 AM

My Nismo, with Stillen G3 CAI and Berk Test Pipes, made 298WHP 251WTQ @ 70F-29.33hg-25%Humidity-1.02STD-CF 5 on that same dyno.

Different day different numbers. Imo %Change is a better number than any specific overall #.

Do a search on here. Best Hp for N/A is 357-360hp, speculative of coarse.

ROBERT1183 07-15-2014 07:35 AM

Just had mine tuned there made 313whp and 265tq.
w/r2c intakes
z1motorsports intake manifold mod
Ark high flow cats and catback

STD numbers though right? Any dyno sheet?

zefaulter 07-16-2014 09:15 AM

did you check numbers before tune? just curious about the gains

TheBoomSpoon 07-16-2014 02:41 PM

Odd that R/T dyno sheets are always STD whereas everyplace else that posts here is SAE. Why?

Exactly. They can't break ground over anyone else so they charge over $700 a tune a post STD numbers so you feel better about a anal raping. :icon18:

I only hear good things about them, I was considering the drive down unless you have better suggestions?

Im pretty sure the Osiris license costs a min of 300, for a new system with cable runs 500-700. If your car's NA it shouldn't take long to tune, I'm no expert but for me it was only 1hr for a simple NA tune. I wish I could find my bill and tell you the exact cost for me.

uprev license is $300 no matter where you go.

sooooooooo where are you finding your prices or black market licenses?

i mean i do agree that i wish mine were STD numbers then mine would look ridiculous lol :bowrofl:

Trust me, license is $150, not $300. Smokeys in Akron has been doing $525 on this platform for over a year. $25 more than IPS in cbus where my friend tuned out of. They too aren't doing all this for only $225.

dyno costs across the board are around $75-100/Hr

license from uprev is $300 and the actual kit with the cord is $500 ($700 for the tuner kit) so for a real uprev dealer probably $200ish then.

judging by the quality of all your half-assed homemade upgrades i'm sure your $150 tune is a real gem as well
