Peak hp at 7250 rpm
My car has been on a dyno twice and both times peak power was around 7250 rpm.
This is somrwhat confusing or maybe i havent seen enough other 370s dyno charts but others seem to make power up to 7500 at least. Is the motordyne m370 causing this? Car runs great this is just curiosity and confusion |
Base models make peak power around 7k rpm. But if you see, it's nearly flatline from 6500 till 7500. You might have a couple mods that pushed your power up at higher rpm. The M370 will reduce top end power by a couple hp.
Nismos reach peak power at 7400rpm, most likely due to a better breathing exhaust |
Normal. Check the rating from Nissan, they post the peak HP @ a certain RPM
|
As long as the power doesn't drop off considerably after 7250 I wouldn't be concerned at all.

Non-nismo makes 332@7,000RPM
Nismo makes 350@7,400RPM Those are the factor specs |
Mine made its peak hp at 7343 after the tune and 7323 before it was tuned. (with the cat back and CAI) So I would say you are about normal.

Indeed. I have new knowledge. Thanks

My graph also shows peak around 7100-7200

Check this out, my 7at shift from 1-2 at 7625 rpms fall to 5950.
1-2 gear shift at 7230 rpms fall to only 6300. My 1/4 trap was 1 mph faster. Lol.... gonna stop watching replays i still have the videos showing this i believe |

I reset my ecu to reset thr fuel trims, drove around 2 days about 10% lean after 80 miles, so i've reset the ecu again, swiyched the uprev tune back to the stock map and see what that days after another 80 miles.
I'm beginning to wonder if i had octane boost in the tank during my last tune because i had bought like a 48 pack of octane boost last year but didnt use during winter. Thats the only thing i can think... oh well... new tune soon i guess |
I recorded a few pulls to see what the AFR is now snd its much better in the 12s at WOT but the long term trims indicate still about 9% lean. Im confused but feel better about AFR now at WOT.
This is on tuned map so ill just monitor it closely for a bit. Here's vid showing safer AFR. http://youtu.be/qHomeXyzrcc |
